DOWN4SOUND single, dual, triple, and quad prefab subwoofer boxes, aka PROFAB subwoofer enclosures, are built to bang, sound great, and not break the bank. Prefab subwoofer enclosures are a great way to get big bass without custom-building a subwoofer box. This article is to help you better understand what Prefab box you will need between V1 and V2 KERF PORT at Down4sound.
PREFAB aka PROFAB Version 1 Enclosures:
The Profab v1 is tuned low, with a wide port tuning that makes it ideal for subwoofers that share similar specs to the Sundown Audio SA REV.3. PROFAB V1 will fit most subwoofers and manufacturers’ airspace requirements. It’s a safe bet to use subwoofers on our website that aren’t over 35 lbs, will fit into the Profab subwoofer boxes, and give you the big bass you crave when you wanna rock out.
- The Profab V1 is tuned between 32Hz – and 37 Hz depending on the size and quality of the subwoofer drivers.
- The PROFAB v1’s are available in single and dualĀ 6.5, 8, 10, 12, and 15-inch subwoofer enclosures that can handle up to 2400W RMS at the terminal, and the single sub boxes are just around 1200W RMS at the terminal.
- Thick Poly-armor to protect and seal whatever life throws at them.
