Michael Evett

Michael Evett got into car audio when it started becoming popular across YouTube. Especially on Mike Singer’s and Steve Meade’s channels. Like many, this was where Michael fell in love with car audio. 15 years later and his passion for car audio is stronger than ever. “Car audio for me has given me a chance to connect with so many people and make amazing friends and gain copious amounts of knowledge.” Michael enjoys competing and demoing, he started competing last year in ISPLL and MECA. His best score to date is a 151.3 @ 39 Hz. The inspiration for his current build was to chase numbers and compete with his friends. His top goal for this season is to dominate in his class and format as best as he can. Overall, his goal is to keep making connections and friendships and to keep learning as much as he can about car audio.

2018 Kia Optima

Michael’s build is currently in a 2018 Kia Optima. He chose to build in the Optima because it’s his daily driver and he hadn’t planned on going crazy with the build so it just happened to be the perfect car for the setup.

Electrical

The electrical currently consists of an 80ah EH5 lithium bank. These cells are paired with a single Brand X 250A alternator. The wiring throughout the build consists of 1/0 Sky High and Full Tilt OFC.
