Chris Lee
Chris Lee originally started car audio in the late 1980s. In the early 1990s, a friend convinced him to get back into car audio. He took this as an initiative to go all out! Chris enjoys competing and demoing. When he competes he usually runs in the organizations NSPL, ISPLL, Bass Wars, and dB Drag. His best score to date is a 174.9 dB, but he is now aiming for a 180 dB. He also demos the build frequently at shows, for those who are willing to take a stab at sitting in it. This build is definitely not for the faint of heart.
1999 Chevy 3500 Van
Chris’s build is currently in a 1999 Chevy 3500 Van. He chose to build in the van because there was lots of room for subs!
Electrical
The electrical currently consists of 400 Ah of Proto cells. These cells are paired with three Singer 390 A alternators. The wiring throughout the build consists of 2/0 OFC.
Mids and Highs
Currently, in the van, you will find 24 8″ Sundown Neo Pro mid-range speakers and 24 Sundown tweeters. These are run off of three Sundown SALT-500.4s.
The Sundown Neo Pro Mid-Range Speakers Feature:
- RMS: 180 W
- Mounting Depth: 3 1/8″
- Sold Individually
- Neo Speaker
