Austin Lolos

Austin Lolos started car audio at the age of ten. At the time his brother had two MTX 12s in his Cavalier that sparked Austin’s current love for car audio. He continues to draw inspiration from top car audio influencers such as Jonathan Price, Exocontralto, and Steve Meade. He used to compete in Midwest SPL, where he hit a 148 dB at 36 Hz with two Ascendant Audio 12s on a DD M4a. Now he builds primarily for fun and is aiming for a 160 dB.

2003 Chevy Silverado

Austin’s build is currently in a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab. Austin chose to build in the Silverado because he had never seen a 4th order wall with four 15s inside the cab of an extended cab truck and he thought it would be cool!

Electrical

The electrical currently consists of 72 AH of Lishen Lithium LTO cells. These cells are paired with two Brand X 270 A alternators. The wiring throughout the build is 1/0 OFC from Knuconceptz.

Mids and Highs

Currently, in each front door of the Silverado, you will find two Sundown LCMR 6.5 midrange speakers. In the wall of the Silverado, you will find some Skar VX35-ST high compression bullet tweeters. These are run off of a Crossfire SQ4 amplifier.

Subs and Sub Amps

Inside the Silverado, there is a 4th order. The ported chamber is 20 cu ft. while the sealed chamber is 10 cu ft and is tuned to 45 Hz. In the 4th order, you will find four Sundown ZV6 15s running off of two Sundown SALT-8s wired to .5 per amplifier.
